Let’s take a examine the opposite aspect of the spectrum… considering different perspectives of a situation can be very difficult as most people prefer to look at only one perspective. Certain people, due to feeling strongly about their own view that they’re not willing to even attempt to look at a different perspective. Some, because a different perspective would reveal unsettling truth they aren’t ready to accept.
Let me explain I used to believe in myself and be satisfied with myself caring for and making sure that everyone I loved was in good health. Mind you I’m not saying this isn’t a wonderful way of being, because I believe that it is. However, in taking the care of all people before my own I’m sure you can guess who was not taken by the hand? As I made sure that everyone was in good health, all my energy, time money, and affection was focused on a different person. In the course each day week, or in the course of a month, I didn’t get the time I deserved for myself. When I came to the conclusion of the day I absorbed it as me not being as important as the other people around me.
I’ve been talking often on The Law of Attraction and I believe that this is true. Our brains are larger than we even comprehend at times. Your brain can decide what we think about through our thoughts. Not only the thoughts we think, but also our perceptions. As with like attracts like in our thoughts when you consider these thoughts as negative, you will attract more “negativity” into your life.
Have you ever seen an event unfolding with two completely different people and two completely different, opposing responses? Perhaps one person behaved calm and cool and calm, while the other one was prone to a rage and cause a snowball effect of negativity within their own world during the day. For instance, a person who is in traffic and is not moving is extremely angry and finds their mood sour then for the remainder of the day, the negative mood swells up and becomes more pronounced as various negative events occur such as the copier not working upon your arrival at work, or food becoming cold once you take it. The other does not mind sitting in the traffic and takes pleasure in the time to themselves for a few minutes. They know that there’s no way to change this, and perhaps dancing and singing to their favorite tune is what they do. The process of taking a negative experience and turning it into a positive one on it is incredibly difficult, but it is also satisfying.
It’s not about who is right or incorrect, but to recognize that your brain is able to take in every aspect of your life. Also, your brain is able to internally process things you consider as being right or wrong. If we could let go of the judgements of others and ourselves, and allow every encounter we experience before us to assist us in growing and gain more confidence We would also gain more health. The same way that your brain draws to you the things you take in without even realizing it the body also attracts to you what it sees. The body is no different. Your body will give you small indications that something is wrong on a regular basis. The majority of people are habitually ignoring these signals that they are unable to be aware of them. If you put on your own negative feelings and hold them inside, they are stored within your body, manifesting as painful and soreness. After your body has been screaming at your for some time the body starts to develop the symptoms of disease.
The pains, aches, or tightness in particular parts of the body typically, they are related to the emotions you are holding onto within you. It may sound absurd however it’s because the majority of people aren’t really conscious of what’s going through their bodies. I can say without any certainty that it is likely to be the case because I’ve personally experienced it. Through a lot of counseling and reading , and a desire to be healed that I realized this might be the case. Being raised in a family in which children were expected only seen but not heard one could have be conditioned to believe that one’s voice and opinions were irrelevant. The same child could become quiet and not ever have an opinion throughout her entire life. This is the exact child who will end up later in life, suffering from Thyroid Cancer.
There are those who consider the right and wrongs in the situation as a matter of judgment, however it isn’t essential or the main point. Some may decide to gain a better awareness and see the larger view that any negative emotion that is internalized will cause discomfort, pain and eventually, disease in the long run if it is kept inside for too long. Being the child I mentioned, I am making an effort each day today to tell my truth, regardless of how I feel about how it is accepted. I don’t believe in the wrong or right of a situation based on my judgment and instead take the lessons learned and be aware of my worth. This is not an easy task that is not only to me but also for many others.
